Lai Siping, graduated from the Department of Chinese, Capital Normal University in 1965. She taught Chinese as a foreign language in Beijing Language and Culture University, and has co-compiled many Chinese textbooks such as Basic Chinese Textbook, Practical Chinese Textbook, Speaking Chinese, etc.
